Download MBW

So, what is the new idea?

  1. I'm tired of "attempting to" update a tedious web site. Call me lazy if you will.
  2. Daily if need be, I will upload my Brain-Zip image of MBW.
  3. MBW = MediaBin-Web brain.
  4. What is the MediaBin-Web brain? A personal brain file with "full capabilty" of referencing URLs, MediaBin blog posts, showing grouping, categories, link to off-site Internet notes / files / data, and or "content of other types" of media.

• Yes, I know. A lot to swallow. So, why do it?

Answer: Let's just say. I can give you far more information and with much less work (on my part), by delivering a brain file for your own Personal Brain.

• If you are concerned about security and other things. Let me assure you, it is "where you go" with your browser, makes you open to threats. Not my brain file or using Personal Brain.

They have been in business for over 10 years and a nationally known company. My first use of Personal Brain goes back three years.

= Introduced Personal Brain software

Personal Brain

Part of my new web site strategy is to apply Personal Brain, for you. This is a very powerful piece of software from TheBrain Technologies.

  • First, I can't say enough about it. It is an amazing piece of software.
  • However, learn to "think about it," in stages. You'll have to learn it over time. Remember, it is about organizing a brain, not just placing thoughts into a GUI App.
  • There is a "very feature filled" free version available for everyone. Plus, it runs on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS. How can you ask for more?
  • Perhaps, the metaphor of a "brain," thoughts, defining relationships by parent, child, and or sibling connections; is a bit too much. However, this point of view, opens you up to new ways of looking at things.
  • You can download it here. Enjoy.

Arthur C. Clarke

One of the last of the greatest Science Fiction writers has died.

= We owe him such a debt of thanks for broadening our horizons.
= If you can believe it or not? Life in the 1950s to 1960s was far more basic, than today. Computers were something only major Corporations, rented or "perhaps?" owned one. Apple and Microsoft were just a dream and Intel didn't exist.
= Computer Science didn't even become a regular degree offering till after 1970.

The movie 2001 made him an household name.
